What Can’t I Put In My Dumpster?

While we can accept most household junk and construction debris, there are some items we cannot accept inside our dumpsters. This includes any flammable, toxic or hazardous materials. Those items require separate disposal. For a safe dumpster rental, see our full list of prohibited items below:

Adhesives: Epoxy, glue, and other adhesives can damage the inside of a dumpster.
Asbestos: Banned from most landfills as it is considered to be carcinogenic.
Car batteries: Can’t be mixed with other waste because of their high lead levels.
Contaminated absorbents and soils: Must be treated by hazardous waste processors.
Food waste: Can attract pests and spoil.
Fuel: All types of fuel are prohibited from entering our dumpsters.
Industrial drums: Substances inside are considered hazardous.
Infectious waste: Poses environmental danger due to its biological risk.
Ink and resins: Can stain the interior of a dumpster.
Oils: Includes any oil used in automobiles and oil used as general industrial lubricants.
Paints and lacquers: Can damage or stain the inside of a dumpster.
Railroad ties: Their creosote coating is prohibited in many landfills.
Refrigerants: Must be properly drained to be disposed of.
Tires: Can cause damage to landfills.

Rental Information

Before Delivery:

On delivery day, please ensure that:

No vehicles or locked gates block our access to the drop spot.
There are no low tree branches or power lines above the drop spot.
The drop spot is not on an incline or an uneven surface.

If these conditions aren’t met, we cannot deliver your dumpster and you’ll be charged a trip fee.

Ready for Pickup:

Before we arrive for pickup, please ensure that:

No vehicles or locked gates block our access to the dumpster.
Your dumpster does not contain prohibited items.
No debris is piled above the top of the dumpster or hanging over the sides.
Your dumpster does not contain heavy debris like brick or concrete unless specified on your invoice.

If these conditions aren’t met, we cannot pick up your dumpster and you’ll be charged a trip fee.

They helped make the stressful moving experience much better.
